On July 21, Apple officially announced that consumers in Saudi Arabia can now purchase the full range of Apple products, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac, through the newly launched Apple Store Online. This move marks Apple’s official expansion of its retail business into Saudi Arabia, bringing local consumers the same high-quality shopping experience as Apple Stores in other parts of the world.
Prior to this, Apple users in Saudi Arabia could only purchase Apple products through authorized dealers. Now, the launch of Apple Store Online provides local consumers with a more convenient and direct purchasing channel. Consumers can not only enjoy professional product consulting services but also experience customized services and fast delivery, among other benefits.
As early as December 2024, when Apple CEO Tim Cook visited Saudi Arabia, he first announced this expansion plan, fully expressing Apple’s emphasis on and expectations for the Saudi market. Cook stated at the time: “We are excited to bring the Apple Store to Saudi Arabia and provide local users with better and more convenient services.”
In addition to the launch of the online store, Apple also revealed plans to open multiple retail stores in Saudi Arabia starting from 2026. Among them, the flagship store located in Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the suburbs of Riyadh (NESCO), has attracted much attention. The opening of these retail stores will provide Saudi users with more opportunities for offline experiences and services, further promoting the development of Apple’s business in the Saudi market.
Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People, said: “We are thrilled to bring the Apple Store online and the Apple Store app to Saudi Arabia, offering customers a new way to explore and purchase Apple’s extraordinary products and services. Our Saudi customers are passionate about the endless potential of technology, and our team can’t wait to connect with them and help them discover how Apple’s innovations can meaningfully enrich their daily lives.”
With the launch of Apple Store Online in Saudi Arabia, it is believed that Apple products will gain more extensive user support in the Saudi market, and the subsequent opening of retail stores will further enhance Apple’s brand influence in Saudi Arabia.
